Pickleball Photo day: Tuesday June 5 @ ARC

For this great sport of Pickleball there seems to be no great pickleball photo's! That will change tomorrow night...hopefully:) I've invited a semi-professional photographer friend to attend our Tuesday evening drop-in pickleball session to get some great action shots of young and old (or should I say young and experienced) pickleball players, male and female pickleball players. Some will be used for our website advertising, but more importantly to show off our great sport locally and internationally! Tell your buddies, and pickleballers to be there for the photos, and some amazing matches.

Pickleball beyond capacity

Last night at Abbotsford Recreation Center for our Tuesday night pickleball session we were overflowing with pickleballers. We had all 8 courts going, and could have filled 3-4 more courts. It was great to see so many (10-14) badminton players stick around after their session before pickleball, and enjoy the competitive games that took place. A BIG shout out to all our regulars who took the extra time to do some basic instruction, and play some games with them. I heard many words of thanks from the badmintoners, many who voiced that they would come again next week.

Pickleball News: ARC opens new time slots

Wake-up sleepy head!

Abbotsford Recreation center has just announced more pickleball slots on the weekends. Saturdays & Sundays 7 am -8:45! What better way to start the weekend then with Pickleball? ARC also states that it is part of their early riser program so cost is only $2 each if you don't have a membership! As the Canadian nationals draws closer, any extra pickleball slots is welcomed.
